Proact opens business in Estonia

The Storage and archiving specialist Proact will start up a subsidiary in Estonia during the summer of 2008.

Proact has decided to open up a subsidiary in Estonia as one step following the strategy to focus on Northern Europe including all Baltic states.

“We have a strong portfolio and an effective business model and we foresee big opportunities to scale into additional markets. With a larger market we can assist our customers further as they often are international companies. We have operations in both Latvia and Lithuania since several years, and by opening up the company in Estonia we are now covering all Baltic states. We have already customers in Estonia and they have been supported from Sweden and Finland” says Olof Sand, CEO of Proact.

“We will employ people locally and give support to them and to our customers from our existing operations in the other countries” says Arne Kungberg, responsible for business development in new markets.

“Proact will start the business during the summer of 2008. With Proact in Estonia we increase our potential market which will be an important base for our future growth” says Olof Sand.
