Qulix Systems’ developments are presented at ReMIX 2010

On the 21st of May, 2010 Moscow hosted the 3rd annual conference ReMIX 2010. Today it is one of the key events of Russian high-tech and IT-market.

The main topics of the conference were modern web technologies and mobile solutions. The “cloud” platform Windows Azure was in the spotlight as well as new versions of MS Silverlight and Visual Studio.

Microsoft has introduced a new platform for Windows Phone 7 that is meant to improve software quality by use of advanced web-based tools: MS Silverlight, XNA and Visual Studio. In addition, during ReMIX 2010, Microsoft introduced the Internet Explorer 9 browser, which included enhanced support of HTML5, hardware-accelerated graphics and text, new JavaScript engine. The Conference participants got to know the possibilities of MS Silverlight 4 – a new version of the browser-based multimedia platform.

Qulix Systems presented one of the solutions based on MS Silverlight 4 platform which had been developed by its team and demonstrated new capabilities of interactive applications creation, including business software, integration with the local computer as well as working outside the browser.

«Silverlight 4 gives more opportunities for implementing new ideas. It’s, you know, as if you drove a BMW 3 and then moved on the legendary M3. Possibilities are completely different! And we already use them! The fourth version of MS Silverlight is focused on multi-platform applications. It means that the application developed for Windows Phone 7 will work on Windows 7 and Xbox 360 “, – says Alexander Sliborsky, Director of Microsoft Technologies Department.

Having successfully implemented several projects, Qulix Systems has already had a chance to evaluate the benefits of the latest MS Silverlight version.
