AIMTEC a.s. carries out implementation of a company-wide SAP ERP system for the Slovakian giant MATADOR Automotive Vrable, a.s.

AIMTEC a.s. will carry out reengineering of a SAP system in the Slovakian plant of MATADOR Automotive Vrable, a.s. This sizeable project builds on the successful cooperation of both companies from previous months, when Aimtec created for Matador a unified B2B platform for communication with business partners. By the new upgrade of its current system, Matador proves that it is a functional production company, paying attention to technological developments in terms of information techologies.

Manufacturer of components for automotive and electrical industries MATADOR Automotive Vrable, a.s. is a member of the Matador Group. It focuses primarily on the production of car body parts. Its client portfolio is diverse, ranging from renowned car maker such as Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi through to automotive sector suppliers such as Magna, Faurecia and SAS to customers producing electrical parts – Daikin. The company currently employs approximately 1000 employees in its plants in Vrable, Nitra and Bratislava.

Aimtec – the idea of a traditional and stable partner
Slovak company MATADOR Automotive Vrable chose for the re-implementation of its company-wide information system SAP a Czech company AIMTEC a.s. Aimtec represents, on the IT solutions market, a stable supplier, operating for more than 10 years as a traditional partner in the automotive production segment. The Pilsen based company will implement its own preset industry solution SappyCar and an optimised product SappyWMS for advanced warehouse management. This prepared default enables significantly faster and higher quality implementation. The final success of the project is guaranteed also by a proven implementation methodology, tested on numerous projects. Long term experience of Aimtec specialists gained in large SAP upgrade projects also play an unsurmountable role, as well as their ability to provide a complete delivery within a single team.

Implementation of SAP ERP

The project comprises of the initial process analysis on the system to be implemented and detailed description of company processes. After completion of innitial analysis, an upgrade of the corporate SAP system is carried up to a version ECC 6.0. The ERP system is then configured again together with unification of operation system and SAP database environments. Development of the following components SAP is planned – BC, FI, CO, AA, PS, SD, HR, MM, APO, PM, PP, QM, EIS, WF, XI.

This project, significant for its extent and scope, is running from December 2009 through to August 2010. After its completion, Matador is guaranteed an application support of the deployed SAP ERP system for a period of 36 months.
