Reksoft, a leading software development outsourcing provider in Eastern Europe and part of Technoserv Group, have presented its vision on IT outsourcing at “Software Outsourcing Opportunities” seminar in The Hague.

Reksoft speakers have been invited to join the matchmaking and networking session organized by WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA) and the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion (NCH). The event brought together more than 40 representatives from Dutch, Russian and Belorussian companies, interested in learning more about opportunities in the software development outsourcing to Eastern Europe.

KPMG recent report “Dutch Strategic Outsourcing Study: 2012” indicates that the current economic climate in Europe influences the demand for outsourcing in the Netherlands. Fuelled by buyers’ needs to cut operating costs, it is also driven strategically by ongoing shifts in preference for how core IT services are delivered in organizations. Other from the cost factor, the major drivers for outsourcing are cited as access to skills and financial flexibility. According to KPMG data, global or offshore sourcing is a significant element in Dutch organizations’ sourcing strategies with 60 percent of the organizations using offshoring.

Another survey on outsourcing in the Netherlands, prepared by European ITO Intelligence Report states that nearshoring is the most preferable type of outsourcing in the country and the most frequent model of ITO partnership for Dutch organizations is a dedicated development center.
