Tachov based company ROTAREX Praha, a significant production plant from the Luxembourg ROTAREX Group, will manage its warehouses using a Warehouse Management System DCI MySite from AIMTEC a.s. Roots of the Luxembourgh group ROTAREX Group go back as far as 1923, when the Company was founded as a family business. This trend remains till today and the Company is currently privately owned by already the fourth generation of the founder’s descendants. The group has a majority share in the worldwide market for production of gas valves and regulators. Its products cover varied industry segments. One of its significant branches is also the automotive sector. In the Czech Republic, ROTAREX Praha, spol. s r.o. was found and based in Tachov. This plant specialises in production of valves and regulators for the remaining ROTAREX Group companies.

ROTAREX company has for its material warehouse management chosen a warehouse management system DCI from a Pilsen based company Aimtec, who has a widespread knowledge from tens of projects already realised in the area of logistics and planning. The chosen solution will allow the Company to deal with its processes cheaper, faster and error-free. In particular, this applies to receipt of material into the warehouse, its storage and the release of material into production, management of final goods warehouse and their dispatch to the customer. Another part of the project is a production planning support. The new system will facilitate fulfilment of requirements in terms of FIFO, FEFO and return traceability. The project will significantly simplify not only work for warehouse and production operators, but also the Company managers, who will gain a detailed overview of inventory and production levels. Based on the information received they can make better decisions and flexibly react to actual situations within these Company areas.

Expected project completion date is planned for July 2009. Subsequently, system implementation will be commenced for warehouses in the parent Company in Lintgen in Luxembourgh, with expected completion date in November 2009. In the future, a complete roll-out of the corporate model into other ROTAREX Group worldwide companies is expected.
