SAP ERP roll-out to Kaluga

Aimtec will implement SAP ERP to the Russian branch of a German Group HP Pelzer. Following the successful implementation of a corporate information SAP in production plants in Radcice, Nosovice and Bratislava, it is turn for the Russian Kaluga. Here, Aimtec deployed a comprehensive information system with an interface for the Russian software 1C. Specialty of the solution is a financial module designed for Russian accounting regulations.

HP Pelzer Group with headquarters in German Witten is the world’s biggest supplier of acoustic systems in the automotive industry. The company produces internal equipment and cladding for personal cars with regards to noise insulation and car carpeting. Customers are all significant global car manufacturers. For its Czech branches in Plzen, Zatec and Mlada Boleslav, the most important customer is Skoda Auto. The Group owns 37 production plants and 5 development centers in 18 countries worldwide.

Aimtec heading to Russia with SAP ERP

Once HP Pelzer tested its SAP core module in the world, it was decided to implement SAP ERP in the new Group branch being built in the Russian Kaluga. Czech information system supplier, Aimtec , was selected based on previous experience as a proven implementation partner. Production in HP Pelzer Kaluga will be launched at the end of August 2010.  The Kaluga plant will supply directly to VW with a target vehicle volumes in excess of 100 thousand a year, mainly VW Polo – 80 thousand cars, and Skoda Octavia 25 thousand cars. On the Russian market, car manufacturer VW adopted a CKD (Complete Knock Down) system, which means that it aims to have all its suppliers based locally, enabling them to deliver directly onto the assembly line.

System modified for Russian accounting requirements

The SAP information system to be implemented in HP Pelzer in Kaluga, will contain only the SD, PP, MM, (WM) and CO modules. Specialty of the solution is the Finance (FI) module, configured for Russian environment. All output documents from the system must meet the Russian legislative requirements. The SAP ERP complex implementation project commences at the start of May 2010. Expected start of live operation is planned for autumn this year.
