February 12th, representatives of International Financial Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, visited the Belarusian High Technologies Park to discuss improvements to the business climate in Belarus. After a session with the Adimistration of the High Tech Park, the representatives of IFC had a meeting with ScienceSoft CEO Nikolay Kurayev and VP of marketing Ulad Radkevitch.

The aim of the meeting was to evaluate the conditions in which IT service companies operate in Belarus. ScienceSoft was invited to share its experience as a member of the High Tech Park. The discussion focused on the state support to the IT-industry in Belarus, particularly, on a special economic regime that covers the member companies of the High Tech Park.

“We had a good discussion. I hope ScienceSoft’s insights and experience as a member of the High Tech Park will be useful for the IFC”, said Mr. Kurayev after the meeting.
