Sirma Media took part in the second autumn Forum of Principals in the Education System started in Sofia the second edition of the autumn Forum of Principals in the Education System started on September 4, 2013, in Sofia under the slogan “For quality education through effective resource management”. The event is organized by RAABE Bulgaria and is the largest national meeting of school principals.

During the forum, multimedia knowledge publisher Sirma Media, which is a partner of the event, presented the new edition of its Classroom of the Future. At the core of the new version is the Acer Iconia W510 tablet-PC. The concept of the Classroom of the Future, which has already been successfully implemented in numerous Bulgarian and foreign schools, allows students and teachers to benefit from new education technologies and to access multimedia content from virtually anywhere.

The focus the current event covers the effective management of school resources in order to achieve education of higher quality. The participants have the opportunity to be introduced to new working models from the real world and to share experience with leading experts from the sector on questions related to attracting additional education funding, improving facilities, managing school documentation, all aspects of starting and termination of employment relationships, motivating and assessing personnel, etc.

The official guests of the forum include Yordanka Fandakova, Mayor of  Sofia Municipality, Samuil Sheinin, Chairman of The Union of Employers in the  Public Education System in Bulgaria, Rumen Jurov, State Expert at the Ministry of Culture,  Reinhard Krapp, Head of  the “Politics and Protocol” department within the German Embassy in Bulgaria, heads and senior experts at the Regional Education Inspectorates of the Ministry of Culture, etc. Another notable guest is Philipp Hausmann, a Member of the Board of Directors of The Klett Group – a publishing group that encompasses 59 companies and has offices in 17 countries. The group is one of the largest education service and resources providers in Europe.
