Softengi LLC joins U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC)

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Softengi LLC, a global software engineering company headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), according to the USUBC executive committee, in an announcement today on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of over 120 companies and organizations active in Ukraine.

Softengi’s primary target markets are the USA, Canada and Europe, but the company is actively engaged in business initiatives in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Ukraine. Softengi’s software engineering services go from custom software development and IT consulting to system re-engineering, business process outsourcing and computer graphics services.

With around 200 staff members on board, including certified software engineers and project managers, with implemented CMMI practices and outstanding experience in agile methodologies, and with established quality assurance practices Softengi is committed and capable of providing services of the highest quality to ensure that a client’s competitive advantage is supported in the best way possible.

Softengi LLC was organized in 2009 as a spin-off of Softline JSC, one of early market leaders in Ukraine. Softline JSC has been a member of USUBC for four  years and has been represented on the USUBC board of directors by Yuri Sivitskiy, one of the four original founding partners in 1995.  Softengi will be represented on the USUBC board of directors by Ruslan Olkhovsky, CEO and Managing Partner and a former senior executive at Softline JSC.

Softengi quickly became a strong player on the international markets as it inherited a strong corporate culture, state-of-the art-knowledge, experience and highly qualified personnel from Softline JSC.  This gave Softengi the flexibility and dynamics of an agile company and the strength of a large corporation, having inspired and ambitious management and staff on board.

“I have known and worked with Yuri Sivitskiy and Ruslan Olkhovsky since 1999 and found them to be top IT professionals and two of the outstanding young businessmen in Ukraine,” said Morgan Williams, Director, Government Affairs, Washington Office, SigmaBleyzer Private Equity Investment Management Group, who serves as President of USUBC.

“Ukrainian Growth Fund III, managed by SigmaBleyzer, became a major international investor in Softline JSC in 2000.  USUBC is most pleased to have Softengi LLC as a member and look forward to working with them as they expand their work around the globe in software engineering.,” Williams stated.
