SoftServe Joins the UK National Outsourcing

SoftServe, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced software development and consulting services, recently joined the National Outsourcing Association (NOA), Europe’s first Association for effective outsourcing.

Advocating best practices, the NOA represents outsourcing end users, vendors and other companies – such as legal firms, consulting firms and HR – that support outsourcing. With worldwide industry links, the NOA is actively involved in research, events, education and public affairs. Perhaps even more importantly, the NOA also acts as the voice, forum and champion for the business outsourcing community. Further, the NOA possesses a great deal of firsthand knowledge – which is referred to as the BOOK (the Body Of Outsourcing Knowledge).

“We are extremely pleased to join this unique organization. SoftServe plans to work with NOA to boost the effectiveness and success of outsourcing,” said Taras Vervega, SoftServe’s EVP Business Development. “Since SoftServe wishes to expand its presence in the global market, our company understands the importance of brand establishment in the United Kingdom and the European Union. By collaborating with the NOA, we will be able to exchange experience and knowledge with other industry peers so that we can deliver superior quality to our clients.”

Key facts about the NOA:

  • NOA operates as a trade association – an independent ‘not-for-profit’ organization whose objective is to leverage effective outsourcing by promoting best practices and innovation in the application and development of outsourcing;
  • The organization lobbies national governments, sector regulators and the EU on matters affecting the collective interests of its members;
  • The organization delivers information on market developments in business outsourcing to its members (benchmarking, standard contracts, market research, tariff and pricing reviews etc.);
  • The organization communicates the benefits and lessons learned about business outsourcing that relates to items such as business processes and supporting infrastructure (on-shore & offshore).
