SoftServe University to Certify Business Analysis Professionals

The Certification Center at SoftServe University of SoftServe Inc., the global provider of software development and consulting services, will provide the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ examinations starting on May 22, 2009.

SoftServe, the global provider of software development and consulting services, is pleased to announce that the Certification Center at SoftServe University partnering with Prometric and Pearson VUE has joined the CASTLE WorldWide training and testing system.

CASTLE WorldWide is the only testing provider which delivers the certification exam for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). The IIBA has created the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®), a designation awarded to candidates who have successfully demonstrated their expertise in this field. This is done by detailing hands-on work experience in business analysis through the CBAP® application process, and passing the IIBA® CBAP® examination.

On May 22, 2009 the first CBAP® exams will take place at SoftServe Certification Center, the only testing center in Ukraine entitled to provide such examinations.

“We are happy that SoftServe University is now enabled to provide CBAP® certification which is increasingly seen as a prerequisite for professional qualification in the field,” says Renata Chuchmai, SoftServe’s Vice President HR. “More and more employers are recognizing CBAP® designation for business analysts in the same light as, for example, the PMP® certification for Project Managers, and the value and expertise these professionals bring to their organizations.”

Professionals working in the roles of business analysis, systems analysis, requirements analysis or management, project management, consulting or process improvement with an advanced level of knowledge and experience will want to consider the many professional benefits of earning the CBAP® designation. More info on the Certified Business Analysis Professional credential can be found on the official IIBA web site.
