The value of the order in question amounts to PLN 46,027,086.40 gross.

The Infrastructure Managing System will consist of the IT system SONET-GAZ (Sygnity) and tool platform GIS (Intergraph). The assets and geographic data necessary for the system operation will be acquired by MGGP. The SONET-GAZ system, whose supplier is Sygnity, is the software developed specially to satisfy the needs of gas companies. It is a central database of networks, field data, network facilities, clients, sales, exploitation, efficiency, quality, investments and planning. The system provides for a complete integration of the business processes with the asset management database managed in the GIS system.

The basic functions of the system are:

  • The asset management inventory in the spatial database
  • Network asset management
  • Client service
  • Network exploitation management
  • Network operation optimization

The SONET-GAZ system operates in a multi-layer architecture with the application server in the Internet/Intranet access mode as well as with the possibility of access to the data by handheld computers (PDA). The spatial and descriptive data are gathered in a relational database. Owing to the application of the advanced function logic and server procedures, the system has a simple and scaled architecture.
