SQA Days 2010: afterword

Qulix Systems acted as an active participant and sponsor of the 8th International Conference Software Quality Assurance Days held on 19-20th November 2010 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

‘Software Quality Assurance Days is an opportunity to make a name for yourself, to share experience, to learn about the latest trends and developments thus increasing your competitive advantage. The conference agenda was filled with the names of celebrity spokespersons and seemingly  little known but genuinely business-related areas of discussion. Should you ask me if the event is worth participating, my answer will be a definite “Yes” for both professionals and beginners in software testing,’ says Evelina Tananaeva, Senior QA Engineer.

During the two-day conference one could attend workshops run by such leading experts as Alexander Orlov, Stas Fomin and Vyacheslav Pankratov; hear about success stories from various areas of software development; examine and discuss research reports, participate in roundtable and panel discussions and even get involved in the presentation of a QA guru  Michael Bolton!

We couldn’t stay on the sidelines and miss the chance to present our state-of-the-art developments in this field. The secrets of mobile QA were revealed by Evelina Tananaeva. Olga Balashenko described to whom and under what circumstances it might be necessary to get testing engineers involved in tasks different from testing.

The SQA Days Conference is held twice a year and bringing together more than 300 QA specialists from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Kazakhstan. More useful contacts, more stare-of-the-art technologies, more benefits!
See you next spring at the SQA Days!!
