Successful completion of project for Modra pyramida stavebni sporitelna, a.s.

Asseco Slovakia, leading Slovak system integrator and supplier of IT solutions, successfully finished the project of StarBUILD system implementation and data migration from German system ZEBUS and ABIT for Modra pyramida stavebni sporitelna, a.s (hereinafter “MPSS”) in August 2008. 

The project was implemented based on contract signed between Asseco Slovakia and  MPSS, the third biggest Czech building saving society, in Prague on 20 th March 2007.

Director of Information Systems Division of Modra pyramida stavebni sporitelna, Mr. David Barczi said: “Implementation of system StarBUILD was a strategic activity of Komercni banka financial group in terms of MPSS acquisition process. Project was successfully delivered on time, in required quality, under extremely tight deadlines and in complex business environment. We expect that the level of process automation and flexibility enabled by the new core banking system StarBUILD will allow MPSS to achieve major productivity gains.”

The new implemented system, StarBUILD, is a comprehensive information system for building societies. The application is parameterable and elastically tailored to market conditions. Mr. Rudolf Poliak, Director of Building Savings Division of Asseco Slovakia, added: “We are particularly pleased to acquire such important client in the field of building savings societies as MPSS which is the member of world-wide influential financial group Societe Generale through its new 100% shareholder, Komercnc banka, a.s. In addition, the successful migration from German SW system (ZEBUS and ABIT were operated in German BHW Holding A.G., former shareholder of MPSS, untill now) is very important reference for Asseco Slovakia. Our SW solution StarBUILD is nowaday implemented in 3 out of 6 building savings societies in the Czech Republic and one in the Romania”.
