Telerik Wins the SD Times 100 Award Once Again

Telerik, a leading vendor of developer tools and components for .NET, is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, it has been recognized as a SD Times 100 award winner in the Components Category.

The SD Times 100 is an annual listing of “the best and the brightest” companies and individuals in the software development industry. Now in its 6th year, SD Times 100 recognizes organizations and influencers for their innovation and leadership in a certain industry category. Each year, participants in the competition are nominated by BZ Media’s editors, as well as an expert group of writers, conference faculty and analysts, and judged by the editors of SD Times.

“The software development industry is led by innovation,” said Alan Zeichick, Editorial Director of BZ Media’s SD Times. “When choosing the 2008 SD Times 100, we carefully considered each organization’s products and services, reputation with development managers, and the new ideas and thought leadership that it has brought to the industry. Thanks to companies like Telerik, and its cutting-edge family of user interface components, the art and science of software development continues to advance at a rapid pace.”

“Being ranked among the industry ‘best of the best’ is a great honor for us,” said Svetozar Georgiev, Telerik CEO. “This award reflects our commitment to deliver outstanding products and to constantly strive to outperform our own accomplishments. Our products have become the industry-standard and we are happy to provide software professionals with high-quality tools that facilitate the process of software development. We are also flattered to be recognized by the editors of SD Times, itself a trend-setting publication.”

Telerik is a winner of numerous technical and business awards. The broad portfolio of the company includes UI components for ASP.NET AJAX, Windows Forms, WPF and Silverlight, as well as a Reporting Tool and a Web Content Management System.
