Telerik Wins Red Herring 100 Europe, 2008 Award

Telerik, a leading vendor of UI components for .NET, won the Red Herring 100 Europe for 2008. The award recognizes the top 100 private technology companies headquartered in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region each year.

This prestigious award honors Telerik for its entrepreneurial approach and dedication to innovations. Hundreds of companies have been evaluated by the editors of Red Herring based on financial performance,   quality of management, execution of strategy, and dedication to research and development.

“This award reflects our commitment to deliver outstanding products and to constantly strive to outperform our own accomplishments, “said Svetozar Georgiev, CEO of Telerik. “We are also very proud to be recognized by the editors of Red Herring, whose talent for spotting innovative technology startups is indisputable, as they have awarded companies like Google, YouTube and Salesforce.com in the past.”

“The exceptional accomplishments of European technology companies and entrepreneurs are a testament to the rapid advancements being made in building the European innovation ecosystem,” said Joel Dreyfuss, Red Herring Editor-in-Chief.

At the end of 2007, Telerik was acknowledged with 3rd place in Deloitte’s “Rising Star” Technology Fast 50 program for the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe.
