Telerik, the leading vendor of developer tools and components for .NET, is proud to announce that for the third year in a row, its products have been recognized as a winner in SD Times 100 Awards in the Components and Libraries Category.

For the 7th year SD Times recognizes the top innovators and leaders in multiple software development industry areas. The participants were nominated by BZ Media’s editors, as well as by an expert group of writers, conference faculty and analysts. As in previous years, readers of SD Times were also welcome to nominate companies, projects and individuals.

“The software development industry has always been led by innovation, and that’s true even in today’s challenging economic climate” said Alan Zeichick, Editorial Director of BZ Media’s SD Times. “When choosing the 2009 SD Times 100 winners, we carefully considered each organization’s products and services, reputation with enterprise development managers, and the new ideas and thought leadership that it has brought to the industry. Thanks to companies like Telerik, the art of software development continues to advance at a rapid pace.”

“We feel honored to be recognized as “the best of the best” in our industry” said Svetozar Georgiev, Telerik CEO. “This award proves that the direction we have chosen is the right one and we have managed to meet or even exceed their expectations. Here at Telerik we have always focused on our clients and let them be the driving force behind our business. This is why our products have achieved such high quality and are recognized as the industry standard. We would like to take the opportunity and thank the editors of SD times and all our supporters without whom this wouldn’t be possible.”

Telerik is a winner of numerous technical and business awards. The broad portfolio of the company includes UI components for ASP.NET AJAX, Windows Forms, WPF and Silverlight, as well as .NET Reporting, .NET CMS and Testing tool.
