Telesens’ Tinterconnect (T-IC) Interconnect Billing System Now Provides MNP Support

Mobile number portability (MNP) is a key element in the subscriber’s freedom of choice of mobile network operator and in the creation of a more effective competitive environment in the telecommunications market.

At the moment the service is implemented in 65 countries, with an additional 20 countries launching over the next 2 years.

From the beginning of this year, Telesens has begun rolling out additional T-IC functionality which supports inter-carrier settlement in an MNP service environment. This will ensure a smooth transition of subscribers from one operator to another regionally.

Implementation of the MNP service enables Telesens’ customers to expand their subscriber base, improve service levels and optimize their portfolio of offerings.
