The President of Republic of Bulgaria. Mr. Georgi Parvanov presented Bianor with 2008 Innovative Enterprise of the Year award at the Fifth National Innovation Forum.

Bianor competed in the category medium and large enterprises with two innovative software solutions: MobiSDP enables content publishers, service providers and mobile operators to launch new Mobile 2.0 rich-media and communication services and MobiECO Business Solutions optimizes corporate mobile expenses and improves the efficiency in customer communication. The two products will be demonstrated during the CeBIT 2009 in Hanover /Hall 05, Stan A47/, where visitors will have the chance to learn more about the benefits these solutions can bring to businesses.

“We are greatly honored to have received this award,” said Bianor’s CEO Kostadin Jordanov. “The award comes to recognize our commitment to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers while reducing their operational cost.”

The forum is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the World Bank Mission in Bulgaria and the Applied Research and Communication Fund representing Enterprise Europe Network – Bulgaria. The Fifth National Innovation Forum is organized with the support of Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency.

The Chairman of Applied Research and Communication Fund Mr. Ognian Shentov delivered the opening remarks. Ms. Meglena Plugchieva Deputy Prime Minister and Ms. Zinaida Zlatanova Head of European Commission Representation in Bulgaria as well as Mr. Florian Fichtl, Resident Representative of the World Bank Mission in Bulgaria attended the ceremony.
