This May on the 28th and 29th, the “Digital City and I” Hackathon took place, under the patronage of the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mrs. Mariela Gabriel, at the Burgas Free University. 

Our VP Jivko Radev and Delivery Manager Hristo Gurvanov awarded the top performing participants during  the official ceremony.

The topics, in which the teams were competing are:

• E-cology and Water Spaces
• E-tourism in the city
• E-debates and civic participation
• E-payments
• E-Sea and its resources
• E-Infrastructure for Everyone
• Digital education
• Digital services in the administration
• Smart e-nergy sources

We are always open and happy to support such events, which gather some of the most bright, innovative and talented enthusiasts. ScaleFocus participated in many other Hackathons this year such as: HACK AUBG, HACKxTUES and Burgas Hackathon.
