Vergence Entertainment selects Eclipse SP to work on their famous social platform

Aiming to extend its development team, the Ringorang author Vergence Entertainment contracted Eclipse SP for a pilot project. Offshore team was assigned to create a set of technical documentation, ensuring its ability to provide smooth taking over of the work.

Vergence Entertainment is an entertainment and technology company which specializes in delivering highly flexible marketing & promotional solutions to its partners. Company’s patent-pending brand engagement solution, Ringorang, is a cross platform contest engine that provides daily engagement on the web, desktop and mobile device between advertisers and their communities.

Since Vergence Entertainment faced a need to extend project team, Eclipse SP was chosen to perform a pilot project which would ensure excellent understanding of the principles according to which the Ringorang platform is being developed. Based on Java technology, the platform also uses several state-of-the-art technologies including Ivy, Google Guice and AIR. Starting from the beginning of March, Eclipse SP had joined in the work and soon came up with required documents and fresh development ideas.

For the time being the pilot project is successfully accomplished and the companies are discussing further cooperation which is likely to include adding functionality, customization and support.

“It’s always pleasant when our Clients place their confidence in us. But when a Client trusts us to deliver a quick solution to his problem, we feel especially honored,” says Valery Krasovsky, Eclipse SP COO. “We hope that this first accomplishment will be followed by fruitful cooperation between our companies.”
