Website of Ministry of Culture Helping Fight Corruption

The representatives of the Ministry of Culture Czech Republic and ANECT a.s. participated in the seminar “Corruption And How To Prevent It – Norwegian And Czech Experts Sharing Experience And Responsibility”, during which they presented a new website designed for administration and control of projects subsidized by the European Union. The solution provided by ANECT a.s. makes this complex administrative system easy to control, and – more importantly – it also guarantees that every single operation is completely transparent, well recorded and easy to track. In this way the website helps – among other things – to prevent corruption.

It is largely due to the functionality of the websites www.kultura-evropa.eu and www.norskefondy.cz that the whole process of administration of subsidized projects (from initial request to project implementation and final evaluation) can be successfully managed. The total amount of subsidies that both sites will help to draw is 7 billion CZK. The solution is based on Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server technologies and run in the form of hosting. The security features and further support services are provided by ANECT a.s.

The seminar “Corruption And How To Prevent It – Norwegian And Czech Experts Sharing Experience And Responsibility” was organized by the Royal Norwegian Embassy of Prague and Transparency International Czech Republic. It was attended by representatives of Ministry of Culture, ANECT a.s. and the organizing team, but also by the Deputy Minister of Justice František Korbel, the Head of the Police of Czech Republic Subdivision for Detection of Corruption and Financial Crime Jiří Novák, representatives of the Norwegian Organization for Industrial Safety and the Norwegian Police Academy as well as experts from Brussels, the Ministry of Finance, KPMG and PWC Forensic Department for Central and Eastern Europe and many others.
