On 21st of March 2012 Mindware signed an agreement with Norwegian technology company Encap to gain right for reselling new generation mobile identification technology in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Georgia and Ireland.

Mobile ID is well proven and publicly accepted technology for electronic authentication and electronic signature in Estonia since 2007. It is widely used by smartphone users as well as older generation mobile phone users.

Encap represents a revolutionary new approach to authentication for the post-PC era. It replaces hardware and one time password authentication solutions such as tokens, card readers, SIMs and SMS with a mobile client linked to a smart device. Easy, quick and convenient for users, Encap creates a familiar, intuitive authentication process that works across all platforms – PC, mobile or tablet – and via the cloud.
