DPA Announced Microsoft Partner of the Year 2012 in Latvia

At the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft announced DPA, the leading Latvian IT company, winner of the prestigious award, Partner of the Year 2012, in Latvia.

DPA was awarded the prize for the excellence in innovations and in developing and implementing Microsoft-based solutions. Nearly 3000 companies were nominated as finalists. Microsoft Partner of the Year 2012 award honours the partners that have demonstrated outstanding performance in business during the past year by delivering solutions and services that are based on Microsoft technologies, thus attaining a high level of customer satisfaction and attracting new customers.

During the past year, DPA has made significant investment towards implementation of the most up-to-date Microsoft technological solutions in Latvia. Several pilot projects on new technologies as well as large-scale infrastructure management solutions have been implemented both at public agencies and private businesses. The work on a unified e-mail solution Microsoft Live@edu for educators and students in Riga, altogether 100 000 users, is in progress; so is the work on a centralized management solution for all workstations at the schools in Riga.

Microsoft gives the Partner of the Year awards to companies that, in the past year, have developed and implemented premier solutions based on Microsoft technologies.

In 2011, SIA DPA total sales (non-audited) reached EUR 15.65 million, which is a 14.5% increase year-on-year. As to Latvia, the SIA DPA sales figure was EUR 12.24 million, a 14.7% increase year-on-year. In 2011, DPA made a profit of EUR 683,000 in Latvia. Speaking of Research & Development, in the past three years DPA has invested one million USD.
