On June 18, IBA Group participated in the seminar devoted to electronic document management and information security in the industrial sector as the event’s VIP partner.

Organized by the Infopark scientific and technological association, the workshop was held within the forum Information Technologies in Industry (PromIT’2014) in Minsk, Belarus.

The event was aimed at encouraging the implementation of electronic document management (EDM) systems in the manufacturing sector.

During the seminar, IT experts of Belarusian companies spoke about best practices and advanced technologies. The speakers offered their recommendations and solutions for the effective development, upgrade, and maintenance of EDM systems to meet the requirements of the Belarusian legislation in the areas of document management, engineering workflow, electronic data interchange (EDI), and information security.

In addition, the program of the event included discussions of the issues related to the interaction of EDM systems with the interdepartmental system of electronic document management of the state bodies of the Republic of Belarus.

IBA Group delivered the following presentations:

• Electronic exchange of commercial information for manufacturers. How to start EDI implementation in your company
• Automated system to manage engineering data of a product. Best practices of implementation and maintenance
• Efficient performance of industrial enterprise and electronic archive as a must.

The workshop gathered more than 240 representatives of Belarusian Ministries, manufacturing enterprises, and IT companies.
