Food Network HD is now available through the largest operator in the Czech Republic. 

It’s part of a pan-regional deal between Scripps Networks UK & EMEA and Liberty Global. The lifestyle channel is being added to the digital basic package of UPC Czech Republic.

The deal follows the recent announcement of the launch of Food Network in the Czech language by the DTH platforms Skylink (both SD and HD versions) and freeSAT, as well a number of regional cable operators in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Viewers tuning will be able to enjoy hundreds of hours of high quality programming, with voiceover in the Czech language, from new commissions including Follow Donal…to Vietnam (pictured), Jenny and Reza’s Fabulous Food Academy, Ching’s Asian Adventure and Siba’s Table 2 tohighly rated series such as Chopped, Dinner at Tiffani’s, Mystery Diners and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
