ZTE will build a scientific research and service centre in Slovakia in cooperation with Slovak universities, reports Zive.sk.
The agreement was signed at the summit China +16 (China and CEE countries). The centre will be build in Bratislava. By 2020, investment will reach EUR 20 million and 100 jobs will be created.
The parties will not require state aid from the Slovak government. The development focus of the new centre will be on multidisciplinary solutions between biomedicine and information technology.
ZTE has 20 similar research and development centres and 108 branches worldwide.
