A specialist from the LGBS company, Mr Damian Widera, gave a very interesting speech on cloud computing in Polish Radio Program IV. The interview contained numerous interesting information, valuable not only for the sector professionals but for every entrepreneur too.

As we could learn from the expert: a cloud computing is the delivery of an IT service by an external company, every entrepreneur may use such cloud when required and then settle financial issues. As stressed by the LGBS Polska company representative, it is a very special solution particularly useful for small and medium sized enterprises which may focus more on their products than on investments in infrastructure. This solutions means that applications and information are stored on serves located outside the local network, and not on the user’s computer.

The expert also discussed when using computations provided in the cloud computing becomes most profitable for the business – it is when a particular application is used occasionally. If the system does not work 80% of time, it is not profitable to maintain it on the company servers. It more attractive financially to outsource the services and hire a system for the actual use time.
