Greek telecommunication company and Polish electronics distributor company announced on partnership

Intracom Telecom, a Greece-based telecommunication systems and products vendor, announced that in partnership with Xentia, a Polish wholesale distributor of voice, data and broadband wireless products for surveillance systems, will supply Warsaw Metropolitan Police (KSP Warsaw) with the OmniBAS platform.

The Warsaw Metropolitan Police selected the Intracom Telecom’s OmniBAS platform after a thorough testing on a live network in Warsaw in order to implement connectivity services for video (CCTV traffic monitoring), backhauling of DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) and Tetra services, and data transmission throughout the city.

More specifically, Xentia will supply KSP Warsaw with Intracom Telecom’s wireless products for the implementation of the OST-112 network expansion and modernisation.

This project is part of the nationwide project called OST-112, which is dedicated for emergency call and data transmission between Police and Fire brigade.
