The average annual growth of Ukraine’s IT outsourcing market is 40 percent, according to the Information and Analytical Bulletin of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

“In 2011, exports of IT services reached USD 1 billion. In 2012 – USD 1.4-1.5 billion. The average annual growth of the IT outsourcing market is 40 percent. It is expected that in 2013 the export of IT services will reach USD 2 billion,” the bulletin reads.

In particular, the key components of the Ukrainian IT market are IT outsourcing and sale of IT products in the domestic market. More than 50 percent of the market makes IT services exports, namely the outsourcing of software development.

According to World Bank estimates, by 2015 Ukraine will go to 6th place in the world in terms of IT export.

A reminder that according to forecasts of a research firm Gartner, the global IT outsourcing market in 2013 will reach USD 288 billion, and in 2012 it stood at USD 251.7 billion.
