

Asseco Poland, one of the leading players in the Polish IT market, signed a contract for construction of network infrastructure for the regional medical information system (RMIS) with Marshal’s Office in Lodz. RMIS is the first information system in Poland that is going to link all the healthcare facilities subordinate to a provincial self-government. Asseco will create the appropriate network infrastructure and design a portal enabling patients to get quick information about the availability of medical specialists.
The project cost amounts to PLN 40m (€9m) and will be wholly covered from public means – of which 75% will be financed by EU.
Recently, Asseco Poland has also signed a contract with the Ministry of Justice for supply and installation of servers and related computer equipment. The agreement is worth of PLN 13.4m (€3m).
