Colombia was chosen for many reasons, including that it is the third largest economy in Latin America and has a growing IT services sector (15% growth in IT services in 2013-2014). The country was highlighted by the World Bank as a top performer in 5 of the last 8 years and is also the top country in Latin America and 6th in the world for investor protection.

Known as the “Athens of South America”, Bogotá has some of the best universities in Latin America, producing over 17,000 graduates in IT and engineering related fields every year. Its talent-rich IT sector holds over 73% of the nation’s IT PhD’s, 51% of Master’s graduates, and an excellent availability of specialised bilingual professionals for the region.

Located on the US Central / Eastern Standard Time zone (GMT-5/-6) Bogotá has direct travel connections with most major US hubs, and direct connections from the UK and Western Europe.

Endava will be actively recruiting people for its new software development centre in Bogotá, whilst continuing to increase headcount in its existing locations in Central Europe.
