The purchased real estate was a former ‘Olimpia’ pool and is situated in the city centre at the corner of Sienkiewicza and Tymienieckiego St. Ericpol is planning to build there a modern five-storey office and underground parking place. A new building will comprise about 800 workstations, mainly engineers and programists. In accordance with new investment plans, the company is going to enlarge its staff, offering new jobs to IT, mathematics, physics, electronics graduates and others. The end of construction works and the opening of a new office is planned in 4th quarter of 2012. An approximate cost of the investment is going to exceed 40 mln PLN.

We have a very ambitious goal to finish this investment as soon as it is possible. We are planning the opening celebration on the 4th quarter of 2013. During preparation the management conception both real estate location and preservation of nature were taken under consideration. On the west part of the terrain the old monument trees are growing and this piece of land will be transformed in a historical garden, in pursuance of regional restorer’s of monuments in Łódź directives.

This is not the first Ericpol’s project relating to the city’s history. In 2005 the company purchased ruined building at 8 Dowborczyków St., which 100 years ago was a storehouse for woolen products. In 2007 the building was renovated and adapted to meet the requirements of modern premises. For 3 years now it has been a comfortable workplace for over 200 software developers. The cost of the investment exceeded 15 million PLN. The adapted factory was nominated to ‘The Best Interior of the Year 2008′ award in Łódź.
