SoftServe Experts in Software Architecture and Software Engineering Recognized Best in Ukraine

SoftServe Inc., a leading global provider of high quality software development, testing and technology consulting services, announced that two of their company professionals were selected as the winners of the “2012 Ukrainian IT Awards”, first national specialized awards in the field of Information Technology. These awards were presented in recognition of outstanding professional achievements and success among experts, colleagues and the IT community.

The award ceremony took place on September 15, 2012, at the President Hotel in Kyiv, Ukraine, and was a perfect ending to the international conference IT Weekend Ukraine. The authoritative jury board was comprised of prominent industry leaders and internationally recognized IT experts that selected the winners in the 6 categories out of the 78 nominees.

The independent award honored the best industry professionals in the categories of Quality Assurance, Project Management, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Business Analysis, and IT Education. Volodymyr Yelchev, SoftServe’s Solution Architect, was awarded for excellence in the Software Architecture 2012 nomination, while Dmytro Maleyev, Mobility Solution Manager, was recognized as the Best Software Engineer 2012.

The awards were presented to the winners by the Expert Council members: Taras Kytsmey (President of IT Ukraine Association and President of SoftServe, Inc.), Viktor Valeyev (Vice President, IT and Development, Ukrainian National Committee, International Chamber of Commerce), Vijay Prasad (Trainer and Consultant, Organizational Strategy and Project Management), Andriy Halych (Managing Director, Svitla Systems in Ukraine), Rex Black (President of RBCS, Software Testing Consultant) and Alberto Ferrari (Business Intelligence Consultant).
