Symphony Solutions Hosted OWASP Ukraine Meetup 2016

On the 16th of September Symphony Solutions hosted OWASP Ukraine meetup 2016 Lviv.

It is a security event for Devs, QA, Product and Project Managers that has been organized in Lviv for the second time. More than 70 attendees, who are interested in software security and its improving choose to visit OWASP at Friday’s evening.

The meetup was opened by the speech of Oleksii Misnik (UA), which was dedicated to USB HID for physical pentest and the usage of USB drive for pentesting Bank of Software Development company.

Headliner of the conference was Martin Knobloch – one of the most famous and active OWASP members, organizer and inspirer for such events as AppSec-Eu 2015 and AppSec-Eu 2016. Andrey Loginov (UA) presented his speech on first steps into IOT/hardware hacking and Pawel Rzepa (PL) talked about application fuzzing, an underrated method of automation for finding unknown and critical bugs in mission critical software.
