Endava and Alpheus announce strategic merger

The merger will accelerate the expansion of Endava’s nearshore outsourcing model in German speaking markets and strengthen Endava’s consulting capability.

Alpheus Solutions Ltd, a consulting business based in Frankfurt and London, has become part of Endava Group, a fast growing IT Services business with delivery centres in Romania and Moldova, headquartered in London and further offices in New York, Glasgow, Oxford and Dublin.

Endava has been working with Alpheus on the provision of services to existing German clients for the past 12 months.  The successful collaboration together with an accelerating interest in IT Services delivered in Eastern Europe by German speaking organisations has prompted this merger.

This merger will follow Endava’s proven and successful delivery model of combining engineering excellence from Eastern Europe with delivery and consulting expertise situated close to the customer. The combined businesses  will operate under the name Endava and along with Alpheus’ traditional consulting services will now deliver Application Development, Digital Media, Independent Testing, Application Management and Cloud Services to German speaking markets.

The location of its delivery centres, in Eastern Europe, puts Endava in an ideal position to support customers in Europe. This is achieved through similar time zone, language skills, close cultural alignment and direct flights. Endava’s delivery centres also leverage both technical capability and the cost advantages of offshore operations.

Justin Wilson, CEO Alpheus Solutions Ltd, said “We have had a long-standing relationship with Endava, working together at a number of clients, and there is an unusually good fit between the two company cultures. I have been impressed by Endava’s ability to scale, maintaining their client focus and their quality while growing rapidly. This merger greatly expands the range of services and capabilities we can offer to clients. We believe Endava is now positioned to become the leading nearshore provider in Germany.”

John Cotterell, CEO Endava, commented “This merger will bring a thought leadership capability which will significantly strengthen Endava, as well as a strong reputation and presence in Germany.  The culture and management teams in our organisations are a good fit, and our fast growth business model will lead to mutual benefits.  We believe that together we will be able to grow additional clients resulting from this merger into large accounts that will benefit from our highly productive, high quality services delivered from nearshore delivery centres in Eastern Europe.”
