The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM) will implement the first information system, “Management of medical devices” (SIMDM) in Moldova.

To this end, AMDM director-general Vladislav Zara and REPEMOL project manager Silvia Morgoci today signed an act on acceptance and delivery of the title to software.

According to the AMDM’s press service, “the concerned system will be meant to support the leadership of the healthcare institutions, to efficiently manage the medical devices, including in planning and purchasing medical preparations, subsequently serving as a warning system in case of technical or technological problems”.

At the same time, SIMDM will allow interaction with accounting systems for synchronizing financial data, in order to avoid information’s doubling.
